Here at the United Association Local 100 Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee, we train commercial plumbers, pipefitters and heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) technicians.
We are a federally registered apprentice program through our Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee, where apprentices earn while they learn in a structured five-year apprenticeship. Apprentices work for UA Local 100 signatory contractors in the greater Dallas area, to earn on-the-job experience and training, while they receive additional classroom instruction from highly trained instructors in the skilled trade of their choice.
The United Association’s core curriculum, taught by our highly trained instructors, helps our students specialize in a trade in order to become a well-rounded apprentice. The core curriculum creates the foundation of skills necessary to become a journeyman in the plumbing, pipefitting, welding and HVACR fields.
